It is widely held that Dostoevsky had a rare genius for uncovering the mystery of human nature. He was intensely fascinated by the character of people, and the "state of their soul". His psychological forensics reveal people as complex creatures, with drives, impulses, frenzies, instincts, beautiful gifts et al. Through audio-visual presentation, literary excerpt, and interactive discussion, the evening invites a collective exchange that delves into the heart of human thought as reflected by Dostoevsky. Secret Socrates is best described as the literary equivalent to a secret cinema and is conceptualised by Avantika Sujan. *For ages 14 and above.
