The Canopy with Arjun Rana & Tang Mizaaji

The Canopy is a live music property by Nikamma and Noice built around a simple idea: music deserves spaces that put the experience first. In a world where live shows often become background noise to a night out, The Canopy aims to create evenings where the music is the reason people gather. A space where audiences can discover artists, connect with stories, and experience performances in a way that feels personal, intentional, and memorable.

The name comes naturally from the Nikamma universe. Our monkey lives in the canopies. It is where communities form, where different lives coexist, and where growth happens. The Canopy carries that same spirit into live music, creating a home for artists and audiences to come together under one roof.

Artists:

Based in Delhi, Arjun Rana crafts a genre-fluid blend of R&B, hip-hop, electronic, and classical music. Recontextualizing the traditional harmonium into modern pop soundscapes, his deep, unhurried voice navigates textured, irregular production with lyrics steeped in longing, emotional restlessness, and underlying hope.

Tang Mizaaji creates honest, experimental music that bridges slow organic indie, experimental pop, and metro soundscapes. Driven by raw emotion, his work embraces the space between an artist’s intent and a listener’s interpretation—believing the most honest songs mean something uniquely personal to everyone who hears them.
