Green Room - A Performance Installation in Odissi

Green Room is the site where three women transform themselves from being regular city- inhabitants to ‘classical dancers’. Inspired from women’s lives which go through a constant process of ‘green-rooming’, transitioning roles in a clockwork through body and emotions, this performance walks you through these intimate private spaces. Contrasting their everyday lives and the lives of the characters the three women enact on stage, the Green Room is a witness to the many secrets of women.

Green Room merges performance and installation, where three women transform themselves from being regular city-inhabitants to ‘classical dancers’.
