Audience Reading Room: Taramandal

Audience Reading Room is an open invitation to anyone curious about theatre - whether you're discovering it for the first time or simply craving the creative spark of a rehearsal space. In this session, you'll gather with fellow readers for a guided reading of Taramandal by Neel Chaudhuri, led by actor and facilitator Kriti Pant.

Together, you'll explore character, voice, and rhythm in a low-pressure, relaxed setting. There’s no need to 'perform' - just read, listen, and lean into the joy of shared imagination. Step into someone else's story, and see what unfolds.

This edition features Taramandal, an award-winning script inspired by Satyajit Ray's short story Patol Babu, Filmstar. Through a tapestry of interwoven lives, it reflects on ambition, small roles, and the quiet beauty of dreaming big - no matter how modest the spotlight.
