Ever fancied being on stage? Turns out a whole bunch of us have, but for many, it’s remained a fantasy. Through our Audience Reading Room sessions, you have a chance to immerse yourself in an ensemble. Led by professional theatre facilitators, these script readings allow you to explore characters, ideas, and perspectives in a safe and supportive space. Each session includes warm-ups, character work, and interactive discussions.

The script for this session is written by Vikram Phukan and titled Postcards from Goa - a compelling exploration of identity and place. Tadpole Repertory Theatre Trust’s Krittika Bhattacharjee will be facilitating.

With a maximum of 20 participants per session, each attendee has the opportunity to read, listen, and contribute to the conversation. Sessions last for 3 hours, with a break for light refreshments provided.

Besharam Ka Paudha
By Rajesh Nirmal
#performance #theatre #interactive #hindi #english

A solo performance by Rajesh Nirmal, Besharam ka Paudha brings to light the importance of authenticity in narratives. Using the metaphor of a stubborn plant that refuses to die after being uprooted and thrown away, Rajesh too, refuses to be uprooted and discarded. Using similar anecdotes, interactive elements, and props, he essentially prompts us to reflect on the realities of our caste-based society. Rajesh’s presence on stage pulls you in, forming a unique bond between the audience and the performer. Audience interaction is key in this piece - and while there’s no pressure to perform, do come prepared to get involved!
