Responding to an environment of growing intolerance, this movement piece delves into 4 universally familiar gestures of praying - bowing, kneeling, lowering the forehead to the floor and bringing the palms together. By breaking down these gestures in time and dispersing them through space, an embodied case for the secular is made. Herein the audience is invited to explore the performative language of belief.
